Acquistions advisory

Motor vehicles have long been financed on hire purchase and finance lease, although today they are increasingly offered on some form of contract purchase or contract hire facility.

With either of these latter arrangements the vehicle repayments will involve a large final payment. Sometimes payable by the customer, sometimes not.

In a business acquisition vehicles can be used to raise debt finance via a chattel mortgage agreement. This can work well because the value of vehicles is both know and stable.
